Peel Bibliography Collection
This is a collection of primary sources on Western Canada. It contains over 4,000 items listed in the Bibliography of the Prairie Provinces to 1953, compiled by Bruce Peel (Ref FC 3206 A2 P43 or http://peel.library.ualberta.ca/). The documents in this collection deal with Western Canadian culture and society from 1692 to 1953. The documents indexed in the Peel Bibliography can be found in the microfiche cabinet by the microfilm machines.
Champlain Society Publications
This is a collection of primary sources on early Canada. It is comprised of journals, diaries and narratives about early Canadian history. Accounts from the period of the fur traders through to the War of 1812 are included in over 38 different documents. The index to this collection is in the Microfiche Collection Guide on top of the microfiche cabinet.
Thwaites' Early Travels
This is a collection of primary sources on the Central and Western United States. It consists of 37 narrative accounts "... of the best and rarest contemporary volumes of travel, descriptive of the aborigines and social and economic conditions in the middle and far West ... of early American settlement." The table of contents to this collection is also in the Microfiche Collection Guide on the top of the microfiche cabinet.
