Playing for 25 Years

25 Years of the Arts Centre!  Amazing!  For every one of those years I can tell many a tale of the ups and downs of things that can and will go wrong during a live event. I can also tell you of many unforgettable performances we’ve had the privilege of presenting over 25 years. The Arts Centre has become an icon of the Red Deer landscape and the performances have provided our community and surrounding area with many unforgettable memories.

Over 5,000 students have enrolled in our Performing Arts programs. There have been over 100 theatre productions and over 500 Music Program concerts.  Hundreds of thousands of performers have graced the stage.  Millions have attended as audience members.

Come celebrate number 25 with our Music, Motion Picture Arts and Theatre programs who have developed a great year for performances for 2011/2012. From September to May there are close to 40 events, from world premieres, theatre for families, gutsy and moving dramas and music concerts for all tastes.  On behalf of Red Deer College I would like to welcome you to another exciting season and please…..enjoy!
