Megan graduated with a Kinesiology and Sport Studies Diploma, and she earned a GPA of 4.0 and five grades of A+ in the final year of her program.
Brittany Lausen received the Red Deer College Foundation Outstanding Student Award for her leadership and commitment to RDC. Brittany has demonstrated extensive contributions as a student leader, serving as the President of the Students’ Association and being an integral part of a wide variety of initiatives for students across the College.
RDC continued another important tradition in 2020, with the granting of an Honorary Degree to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the advancement of social, cultural or economic development in a way that has had significant impact on RDC, central Alberta and beyond. Dorothy Dickson is the sixth recipient of the Honorary Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies Degree in recognition of her unparalleled passion for environmental initiatives, education and community building.
