Amy Eisan

Amy has been a nurse educator since February 2015. She began as a part-time clinical instructor, then became a sessional instructor in September 2015. She is now in a probationary continuous position. In November 2018 she received her Masters of Science in Nursing degree with a focus in nursing education.
Amy has been a registered nurse in Central Alberta for 17 years. While she has worked in various areas of nursing, she has spent most of her career in orthopedics. She received her specialization in orthopedics from the Canadian Nurses Association in 2008. Her interest in nursing education began and grew while preceptoring nursing students from Red Deer College’s BScN program.
Amy is currently a lab and competency development instructor for both the Practical Nurse and Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs.
