Excellence in Teaching and Learning (ETaL) Program

The Excellence in Teaching and Learning (ETaL) program is a Career Development Certificate credentialed through the School of Continuing Education and Corporate Training at Red Deer Polytechnic. This program is only open to current faculty at RDP. Module 1: Course Design and Course Outcomes Seminars

This module was completed in the Fall 2023 Term.

Module 2: Assessment and Evaluation Wrap Seminars

Module 3: Technology Enhanced Learning Seminars

Initial seminar:  Friday, May 3 | 3-5 PM

Wrap seminar: Friday, May 31 | 3-5 PM. 

Module 4: Indigenization of Post-Secondary in Canada Seminars

Module 4: Indigenization of Post-Secondary in Canada Seminars were completed in the Fall 2023 Term. 

However, successful completion of the Indigenization: Foundation and Context Course may grant prior learning assessment & recognition (PLAR) for Module 4 of the Excellence in Teaching and Learning Career Development Certificate.

This course will take place on February 8 & March 7 from 3-5 PM on both days.

Module 6: The Inclusive Classroom Seminars
