Located on Red Deer Polytechnic’s main campus, the Arts Centre is an awe-inspiring venue where creativity comes to life.
Whether you are planning a concert, symphony, ballet, awards ceremony, corporate event, brand reveal or conference, our Main Stage theatre will provide your guests with comfortable seating and unobstructed views of the stage.

Sports & Recreation
Once a host venue for the 2019 Canada Winter Games, the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre is an ideal space to host your next sporting event.
Our bright and spacious arena and performance gymnasium were carefully designed to maximize the competition experience for athletes along with the viewing, comfort and audio experiences for fans and guests.

Arena
Our Arena is built to allow for multiple configurations, including sledge hockey or short track speed skating. The Arena can convert from a hybrid-sized (90' wide by 200' long) ice surface to an Olympic-sized (100' wide by 200' long) ice surface, making it ideal for hosting sporting events during prime-season or sizable convention-style events during the off-season.

Cost for Youth (under 18):
- $220 per hour - weekdays 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm; all day on weekends; all day on statutory holidays including the Christmas break; all day during the off season (April 19 to August 31)
- $110 per hour – weekdays 6:30 am to 4:00 pm during regular season (September 1 to April 18)
Cost for Adults:
- $250 per hour - weekdays 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm; all day on weekends; all day on statutory holidays including the Christmas break; all day during the off season (April 19 to August 31)
- $140 per hour – weekdays 6:30 am to 4:00 pm and 10:00 pm to 11:00 pm; during regular season (September 1 to April 18)
Please note, we give a 20% discount on bookings of over 10 hours per day or over 10 hours per week (during regular season only).

Fas Gas - On The Run Gymnasium
The Fas Gas - On The Run Gymnasium is an ideal space for your sporting event. This bright, performance gymnasium is 1,748 square metres and can be configured for single feature court events and multi-court configurations to accommodate tournaments. This space can also be used to host a number of other large crowd events such as graduation ceremonies, concerts and conventions.

Border Paving Running Track
Conveniently located in the Collicutt Performance Fitness Zone, the Border Paving Running Track is a perfect space to book for hosting training or track competitions. Book the training and competition track separately, or along with the attached warm-up track.

- Youth Event: $128 per hour

BMO Financial Group Wellness Studio
BMO Financial Group Wellness Studio is located just off the Collicutt Performance Fitness Zone and it has the most natural light of any space in the Gary. W. Harris Canada Games Centre. With views of the outdoor spaces and Builders’ Hall indoors, this is a prime location for a wide range of health and fitness activities.

Melcor Developments Movement Studio
The Melcor Developments Movement Studio is located within The Donald Health and Wellness Centre. The inviting space has windows on the south and west sides, providing an ideal location for yoga and fitness classes.

Red Deer Polytechnic's Builders’ Hall is an impressive 400 feet long and seven stories high at its peaks. This gorgeous, glass corridor contributes significantly to the bright, open feel of the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre and its towering windows bring the natural light and landscape into all corners of the facility.

Outdoor Spaces
Located on Red Deer Polytechnic's main campus, adjacent to the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre, a picturesque open space is available for informal outdoor activities and future beach volleyball courts to the south and west, as well as anticipated development of future facilities to the east.
The NOVA Chemicals Waskasoo Creek Nature Walk links to and encircles, a pond area nestled beside the Waskasoo Creek, providing access to the informal trails in the natural area.

Goodmen Roofing Ltd. Outdoor Patio
The Goodmen Roofing Ltd. Outdoor Patio is on the second floor just off of the Collicutt Performance Fitness Zone. The outdoor space offers picturesque views of Red Deer Polytechnic’s main campus.
